Our Lower Key Stage 2 Team
Our Lower Key Stage 2 team is made up of many teachers and teaching assistants who help us to learn and achieve our very best every day.
Maths and Spelling homework is given out each Friday and should be completed and handed in on the following Wednesday. Please encourage your child to complete their homework independently each week.
Reading- children are expected to read their school book three times a week.
Elm Class – Tuesday & Thursday
Beech Class – Thursday & Friday
Rowan Class – Monday & Friday
Earrings should be removed or taped to a safe standard with plasters brought in from home. If your child is unable to do this themselves then these must be taped up before coming into school on PE days.
P.E. kits are to be worn for school on these days, please see our school uniform page for a list of correct items that can be worn.
Children in Year 3 and Year 4 will go swimming as part of the KS2 curriculum. You will be notified when it is your child’s turn for swimming.
Reading records are checked on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday with books being changed when your child has finished theirs. It is important that you encourage your child to read as much as possible at home, at least three times per week.
Please ensure that you sign your child’s reading record so that we know when they have read!
