Our Key Stage 1 Team
Our Key Stage 1 team is made up of many teachers and teaching assistants who help us to learn and achieve our very best every day.
Spellings – Children will be given 5 spelling words to practise. Please tick if you think your child is confident in reading and writing these words. We will check them every Friday.
Reading – Children should read at home at least 3 times per week. Their reading record must be signed for the book to be changed.
Cedar Class – Monday & Wednesday
Ash Class – Wednesday & Friday
Earrings should be removed or taped to a safe standard with plasters brought in from home. If your child is unable to do this themselves then these must be taped up before coming into school on PE days.
P.E. kits are to be worn for school on these days, please see our school uniform page for a list of correct items that can be worn.
Reading records are checked on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday with books being changed when your child has finished theirs. It is important that you encourage your child to read as much as possible at home, at least three times per week.
Please ensure that you sign your child’s reading record so that we know when they have read!
