Our Upper Key Stage 2 Team
Spellings – will be put into Google Classroom every Wednesday and must be completed in your child’s homework book. This should be returned to school by the following Monday.
Reading – we expect children to read at home at least 3 times a week. They do not have to read aloud to an adult, but please ask them to tell you about what they have been reading to check their understanding. Their reading record will also need to be signed by an adult.
Maths – is not set by the class teacher but if your child wants to practice at home things they have been doing in class, please let us know and we can signpost some suitable websites to use.
Extra Homework – in the Spring and Summer terms, extra homework will be given to the Year 6 children to help them practice and prepare for their SATS tests taking place in May.
